So it's only a lucky few who have this cheap, clean wonder. I've been looking into, or at geothermal for my own large old house in the north, but the few homes (belonging to very wealthy people who can afford such experiments) I know that have installed systems have found that they tend to fail in the coldest part of the winter, since the area around the pipes gets too cold to heat the homes above 55 or so. Haven't found a ground laid system that is effective in -30F temps yet. The larger government ones are deep well systems, which really are prohibitively expensive for an average homeowner here. Just curious if you know differently?balsamfirhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12347379810451503618noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2527299533362125857.post-9525331411106250732010-08-03T12:12:57.865+02:002010-08-03T12:12:57.865+02:00Just in case Geoinstaller reads this again, för at...Just in case Geoinstaller reads this again, för att inte prata om Magnus heller.<br />I have been trying to get consultants and professors in the Burlington area to simply reply to my questions about the failure to advertise.
