Soon to report from Burlington VT

I am in Burlington VT for about 21 days and am going to post entries here that might best appear under Only-NeverInAmerica. Every day in my American home away from home I experience one great experience after another. Yet these are set in the truly bizarre context created by the unmentionable one.

My posting will be somewhat limited by the fact that my home is Cedar Shelter up on Mount Philo in Mount Philo State Park and my internet is here in Fletcher Free Library. Even more important is that there is so much going on at the Annual Burlington Jazz Festival that it is hard to leave the musicians for the library.
